The Gordon JCC Strategic Plan is a roadmap for how we will strengthen community, expand opportunities, and create a more welcoming and engaging experience for generations to come. Developed through community feedback, research, and collaboration, this vision focuses on enhancing programs, modernizing spaces, increasing accessibility, and ensuring the long-term sustainability of the JCC as a hub for Jewish life in Nashville.

Our Strategic Priorities

Our strategic plan focusses on four key areas that will guide the future of the Gordon JCC.

    1. Provide more, and more relevant, programs for our community

    2. Enable community members to connect by investing in social spaces

    3. Enhance the member experience and support program needs by refreshing existing spaces, adding amenities, and adding new spaces where needed

    1. Partner with Jewish organizations to provide more programs and serve as a

      community gathering place.

    2. Engage volunteers to deepen community ties at the J

    3. Create programs and events to connect the Jewish community across the Nashville area

    1. Improve the user experience through excellent customer service and communications

    2. Empower staff through professional development and recognition for their work

    3. Increase capacity by building efficient and collaborative processes, clarifying roles, and hiring where needed

    3. Strengthen our approach to development and fundraising

    4. Rent spaces underutilized by members for supplemental income
